Charlie Rae is a self contained, professional freelance piano player & vocal entertainer and versatile, experienced singer/songwriter musician from Edinburgh, Scotland.
He plays everywhere, both in a corporate and private capacity - from pianobars, pubs, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, weddings, functions and corporate events to venues across Europe; (particularly Norway, Sweden & Holland). Recently Charlie performed at Amsterdam's Gay Pride Parade.
He's composed music scores for BBC Television and Film and has also performed in The Rat Pack Piano Bar in Edinburgh. Charlie's also a regular entertainer at The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland over Christmas and Hogmanay.

He covers most musical genres - Pop, Swing, Soul, Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Ballads etc. Charles' influences have been varied from; Billy Joel, ("Pianoman" ), Elton John, George Michael, Sting to U2 . However it is the spiritual rock of Marc Cohn that inspires him the most with "Walking in Memphis", one of Charlie's all time favourites.
